Also, my computer died, so there are a few files that I no longer have access to. But anyways, I'm in animation school now! Horray! Everyone in my class is so talented, it inspires me to work harder. I'll post some assignments in February [hopefully].  Cheers!

I've been in something of an "art drought" recently. Might be the fuss of the daily life. But for good news: I was finally taken off the waitlist to the next animation program!! In a few months, I will be attending one of the biggest animation schools in the world! I am thrilled beyond words. No military for me, right now! :-)

I've had a lot more free-time since completing school, and am happy to report that I was, in fact, accepted into all 5 animation programs I applied to be transferred to this year. Sadly, I ended up declining all of them... I have a lot to think about. At the moment, I've taken on the waitlist to the next animation program. It is tedious! But it's a big school, or s...

Welp. Foundations year has been completed. I'm happy to say I've learned a lot, and that I've been accepted to each of the schools I have applied to so-far. Very grateful about it all. Here's the final illustration I made for our school's 'artist showcase,' which was featured on a poster.  I call it "The Carbonara Cruise Ship Kitchen," and the characters are Chef Farfalle [whom you may recognize from previous posts], Rigi [with the camera], and Alfredo. I'm currently a big fan of pastas.

Hello, I'm Lazlo. Here is my blog. My interest resides in character art, so that'll be my primary focus. I'm documenting my art on a lesser-known website, so if I decide to delete my current online accounts [such as DeviantArt or YouTube accounts], I can keep some things up-to-date here. This also serves to showcase my progression over the years, since I hope that my work will be somewhat decent in the future, and not so harsh on the eyes, as it seems to be now. I am currently in school for animations and illustrations. Should be fun. Here's some character art from last year. Not the greatest, but we'll get...
